About Elizabeth Ginsberg

Elizabeth Ginsberg is a respected Dallas attorney, a working mom who runs her own small firm, and a longtime Democratic Party donor and volunteer. She and her husband Jacob have lived in District 108 for 24 years and raised two daughters here.

Elizabeth is motivated to run because she is concerned about issues such as voting rights, public safety, education, health care, growth and economic opportunity, and the environment. She is keenly aware that our democracy is under attack, from voter suppression to gerrymandered districts. She is a tough, seasoned leader who is ready to fight for our fundamental values and rights as Americans and Texans.

Elizabeth earned her law degree at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Over a 26-year legal career, she has served as first chair of numerous trials and appeals and dealt with a wide range of civil matters covering commercial disputes, real estate, health care, bankruptcy, labor and employment, insurance, environmental claims, products liability, and personal injury. She has been active with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program helping indigent and homeless individuals. She has also taken volunteer court appointments to represent those facing eviction.

Elizabeth is a committed Democrat who has donated to and volunteered for numerous campaigns in Dallas County, including judicial campaigns, John Turner for House District 114, and Nathan Johnson for Senate District 16. She is an elected Precinct Chair for the Dallas County Democratic Party. She also volunteered with the Texas Civil Rights Project during the 2020 election cycle, and she has been active in Girl Scouts, Rays of Light, and local schools.
